dorsiflexion
ankle flexion (moving the toes toward the shin)
plantar flexion

movement toward the midline/to the body (ex: bringing the arm to the body)
abduction
moving away from the midline (think of someone being adducted lmfao) (ex: moving arm away from the body)
elevation

depression

inversion
lifting the medial border of the foot; bring the sole of the foot to face inward
eversion
lifting the lateral border of the foot; bring the sole of the foot to face outward
pronation
rotating the hand and wrist medially. from the bone; if laying on the back, the hand would have the palm on the floor
supination
rotating the hand and wrist laterally from the bone; if laying on the back, the palm and wrist would be facing toward the ceiling
horizontal adduction
the angle between two joints decreases on the horizontal plane
horizontal abduction
the angle between two joints increases on the horizontal plane
rotation
pivoting or twisting on the axis (turning the head left or right)
