F5 - Zoomer - zoom in or out
F6 - Trim - trim ends of clips
F7 - Selector - select parts of a clip
F8 - Grabber - move clips

After Playback - Edit window will snap to playback cursor when playback is stopped
Page - shifts every time the playback cursor reaches the rightmost edge
Continuous - playback cursor stays in the middle of the Edit window
Center Playhead - for quick navigation on the timeline
Insertion follows playback
Timeline insertion stays at the point where the playback ended and will pick off from where you left

Trim - ends of track
Selector - upper half of track
Grabber - lower half of track
Slip, Shuffle, Absolute Grid, Relative Grid, and Spot
Slip - complete flexibility
Shuffle - clips will align end-to-end
Absolute Grid - everything snaps to the grid
Relative Grid - everything moves by the grid, but doesn't snap to it
Spot - specific location, most often used in post-production
