Purposes of parties
1 promotes agenda/platform, present agenda to voters and work to win elections.
2 select candidates to represent them best.
3 educate voters, inform on issues or beliefs; by radio, tv, commercials, newspaper etc.
4 fill up govt positions.
5 watch dog, party not in current power criticizes the party in power , keeps them honest.
6 finance campaigns, raise funds to endure candidates have financial support.
