Anterior Pituitary Gland lactated in the brain

Prolactin or PRL

PRL stimulates milk production from a women’s breast after childbirth

produces t3 and t4 hormones that control your metabolism, energy use, body temp, growth, and development

regulates the body’s calcium levels by p[roducing parathyroid hormone PTH

Thymus located above heart

Acts as a school for T cells, training them to fight infections and pathogens while ensuring they do not attack the body’s own tissue

Adrenal located above kidneys

The stress response,, the inner part of the gland (medulla) produces adrenaline and noradrenaline

Pancreas located under the stomach

it functions as both an exocrine gland for digestion and an endocrine gland for blood sugar regulation

produce cells necessary for reproduction and the hormones that drive sexual development and maintenance
