Ch 7 Membrane Structure and Function
What is the Plasma membrane?
It is the outermost covering that separates the cell from its surrounding and is selectively permeable.
What does selective permeable mean?
Allows some substances to cross it more easily than others; keeps unwanted stuff outside; controls traffic into and out of the cells it surrounds.
