Detects blood flow to determine heart rate and cardio
fitness.

Accelerometers, gyroscopes and
orientation

Detects motion to determine the type and intensity of
exercise. Also used for sleep analysis.

Barometer - Air pressure measurement

Measures changes in air pressure associated with
changes in altitude.

Blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) - Red and infrared lights

Measure the concentration of oxygen in the blood.

EDA Sensor - Infrared lights

Measures changes in sweat levels of the skin to
determine stress levels.
