Instructions for Side by Side Printing
  1. Print the notecards
  2. Fold each page in half along the solid vertical line
  3. Cut out the notecards by cutting along each horizontal dotted line
  4. Optional: Glue, tape or staple the ends of each notecard together
  1. Verify Front of pages is selected for Viewing and print the front of the notecards
  2. Select Back of pages for Viewing and print the back of the notecards
    NOTE: Since the back of the pages are printed in reverse order (last page is printed first), keep the pages in the same order as they were after Step 1. Also, be sure to feed the pages in the same direction as you did in Step 1.
  3. Cut out the notecards by cutting along each horizontal and vertical dotted line
To print: Ctrl+PPrint as a list

7 notecards = 2 pages (4 cards per page)

Describe the various file types Sessions, WaveCache, Audio, Rendered, Session file backups

The Sessions file is where the recording, editing, mixing and such will be done. WaveCache file is where there will be a visual representation of the audio file's waveform showing. The Audio file is the default location of where any audio files created on the Pro Tools audio track. The Rendered files is where the temporary audio files are stored. The Session file backup is where periodically back ups of your session file will go, protecting hard work from not saving

Describe what the edit window looks like

The edit window will have a Edit Window Toolbar up at the top, it being the just basically the entire section on top, having edit buttons on the top left side, the Edit Tools will be on the right of the Edit Mode Buttons, then the Counter and Edit Selection will be just to the right of Edit Tools, then next is the Grid and Nudge, then Zoom Controls, then Transport/Expanded Transport, then the MIDI Controls, then the Output Meter, and now the Rulers will be located below the Edit Tools, the Tracks List, Groups List will be located on the left side while the Clips List will be on the right side, the Tracks Area will be the main focus as it will be in the middle of the screen

Describe what the mix window looks like

The Mix Window will have a Tracks Area located in the middle of the screen, it being a main focus. The Track and Groups Area will be located on the left side, the Transport Window will be shown with the combo of pressing Ctrl+1

The Transport Window can appear with pressing Ctrl+1, and this will have Transport Controls, Counter Controls, MIDI Controls, and Output Meters

Describe the following menus file, view, setup, options, window

File menu allows to import audio and MIDI and export final mixes. Menu view allows to show or hide an aspect of a window. The Menu setup allows to configure other aspects of Pro Tools system including Pro Tools' Preferences dialog box at the bottom of the menu. The Menu options allows to enable features are indicated by a check mark. The Menu window allows to show, hide, or arrange Pro Tools windows.
