Instructions for Side by Side Printing
  1. Print the notecards
  2. Fold each page in half along the solid vertical line
  3. Cut out the notecards by cutting along each horizontal dotted line
  4. Optional: Glue, tape or staple the ends of each notecard together
  1. Verify Front of pages is selected for Viewing and print the front of the notecards
  2. Select Back of pages for Viewing and print the back of the notecards
NOTE: Since the back of the pages are printed in reverse order (last page is printed first), keep the pages in the same order as they were after Step 1. Also, be sure to feed the pages in the same direction as you did in Step 1.
  3. Cut out the notecards by cutting along each horizontal and vertical dotted line

cell tissue n function

front 1

What are the main levels of hierarchical organization in molecular organisms

back 1

The main levels are cells, tissues, organisms, and organ systems

front 2

What is the role of cells in a molecular organisms

back 2

Cells are the basic unit of life and perform specific functions necessary for the organism survival

front 3

How do tissues function in an organism

back 3

tissues are groups of similar cells that work together to perform a specific function such as, muscle tissue, and enabling movement.

front 4

what is an organism and how does it differ from tissue?

back 4

An organ is a structure made up of different types of tissues that work tg to perform a specific function, whereas, a tissue is a group of similar cells performing a common task.

front 5

what does the circulatory system do

back 5

circulatory system transports blood nutrients water and oxygen throughout the body removes was

front 6

how does the digestive system contribute to nutrient uptake?

back 6

The digestive system breaks down food into smaller molecules and can be absorbed into the bloodstream for use of the body.

front 7

what is the role of the immune system

back 7

The immune system detects and responds to the pathogens to protect the body from diseases and infections.

front 8

how does the nervous system help an organism respond to stimuli?

back 8

the nervous system processes sensory information and generates responses through the motor output, allowing the organism to react to changes in the environment.

front 9

give an example of how different organ systems interact in the body

back 9

an example is the interaction between the circulatory system and digestive system the digestive system absorbs nutrients into the blood, which then circulatory system that delivers to cells throughout the body.

front 10

why is understanding a hierarchy organism of systems important?

back 10

understanding the organisms helps us see how complex organism functions as a whole, how different systems support each other and how they maintain an organism health in response to environmental changes.
