DNS software stands for Domain Name System Software. Since the internet is based on IP addresses, the DNS software translates domain names into IP addresses.

What are two things that one has learned about domain names?

One thing I learned was that domain names are basically IP addresses. The difference is the DNS software translates the domain name into an IP address. Another thing that I found interesting was that domain names have different levels such as top-level, mid-level, and low-level.
