Solution

A homogeneous mixtures where the particles are too small to be seen; it stays evenly mixed.

2

Solute

Any substance that dissolves into the solvent.

3

Solvent

Any material in which another materials is dissolved.

4

Electrolyte

Any substance that separates and forms ions in solution
E.g. NaCl->Na+Cl-

5

Non-electrolyte

Produces no ions in solution.

6

Saturated

A solution is saturated of the solvent has dissolved all of the solute it possibly can at a given temperature.

7

Unsaturated

A solution is unsaturated if the solvent can still accept more of the solute without having any fall out of solution
(at a given temperature.)

8

Supersaturated

A solution is supersaturated if the solvent holds MORE solute than it can dissolve at a given temperature.
