Layered editing mode preserves underlying clips when the clips are overlapped. Layered editing mode can be enabled or disabled by options>layered editing or the layered editing btuton in the edit window under the pencil tool.

- They provide non-real-time processing.The time where you may need to use Audiosuite processing is when you need to save CPU.

- The use-in playlist button controls if the processed audio replaces the selection in the track playlist or if it is added to the clip list. When the option is active it will be highlighted in blue.

- Applying AudioSuite processing clip by clip only affects those clips, while applying it to a selection will affect only the selection.
